About Ruby Stew

Since 2025

Focused on Blues music done right, Ruby Stew is a powerhouse Colorado ensemble anchored by powerful vocal harmonies, driving rhythm and searing blues guitar.  

Formed in 2025, Ruby Stew is comprised of Stu Crair (Dead Floyd, Musketeer Gripweed) on drums, Lance Ruby (Musketeer Gripwed, Sugar Britches, Graham Good & The Painters) on guitar, Dana Giove (Dead Floyd, Titonic, The Holler) on bass and vocals & Chris Bell (Tumbledown Shack) on keys and vocals.

Together, the members of Ruby Stew have played across the U.S. and opened for impressive national acts including Los Lobos, Greensky Bluegrass, Trampled By Turtles, North Mississippi All-Stars, The Revivalists, Aquarium Rescue Unit featuring Col Bruce Hampton, JJ Grey and Mofro, Lucas Nelson and the Promise of the Real, Marcus King Band, John Brown’s Body, The Big Wu, Stanton Moore, Jimmy Herring, Dumpstaphunk, Anders Osborne, Pimps Of Joytime, Steve Kimock Band, The Grant Farm with Keith Moseley (SCI) & Garaj Mahal.

and performed at music festivals including:
